My name is Jeff Danford, and I’m a landscape painter based in Maine. I’m extremely grateful to live in one of the most naturally beautiful places in the world, where there is no shortage of inspiration for my work. I’m most drawn to vast natural spaces that may seem empty until deeper examination. The goal of my artwork is to bring to life the light, color, and forms of a landscape that I find the most beautiful and inspiring—while staying (largely) true to the scene as it is perceived by the human eye.
